We are very proud of our safety performance in both the United States and in Canada; our Experience Modification Rate in the United States and Firm Performance Index in Canada continue to be lower than the industry average.
Our employees continually strive to achieve zero accidents. We approach this goal with a commitment to safety that includes mandatory safety orientation, ongoing training and comprehensive safe work practices. State has obtained the Certificate of Recognition from the NB Construction Association and the NS Construction Association which is awarded to firms that have completed the training requirements, fully implemented a loss control program, and successfully participated in the internal and external audit process.
